oh boy have I got it bad. This knitting thing is awesome. So far I've made a scarf for my sister and matching hat, 5 or 6 head kercheif thingies, working on an uber scarf for my dad, a cute felted bag, attempted and frogged lace for my mom 6 times (yeah, giving up on that one), and have ordered yarn for another felted bag that I can't wait to start making. And I have my eye on a sweater pattern!
I have a whole new respect for my Mommom. I'd give anything for her to see that I have finally figured out how to knot and am enjoying it so much. SHe was a knitting feind and the only person I know who could knit a kid a sweater for christmas that they liked!

- This and Ravelry are the homes of my deep knitting obsession though it certainly spills over into other aspects of my life. I learned to knit from my grandmother when I was 7. I made a few garter stitch dishcloths as a gift for her that Christmas and promptly forgot everything she taught me. I started knitting again several years ago and was quickly hooked.
